Of all the common topic people talk about for the first few weeks of 2007, i should say the most common  1 has got to be "so, what’s your new year resolution?" . Agree? Don’t agree? Why don’t u go and do yourselves a blog search under the keyword resolutions and see it for yourselves.
While that’s what people normally ask, here’s 1 i question myself with, "do i even have any resolution to start with?"
Never that I’ve imagine, the answer came sooner than i thought. It was a week ago that i saw an announcement about a blood donation drive on the church bulletin. That is when I’ve made up my mind once again, to face my fear of blood. My first attempt in 2005 did not succeed and sad to say that I’m only able to donate half a packet. humiliating isn’t it? darn rite it was,. my whole face was as white as a geisha back then.
Anyway that was the past, this is 2007 now and today(14/01/2007) i went to look into the face of fear with new hope, saying "No! i must not be afraid and overcome this phobia once and for all" .
Frankly, i wasn’t able to hear my faith cry within me that well cos my throbbing heart was hitting the battle drums to loud.
Now, as i sit here  typing my feeling now, I’m proud to say that….."i succeeded my first resolution of the year!"
.. and of course i donated the whole full packet this time. I was even given a certificate of appreciation this time saying….
"It is delighted to voice our highest appreciation and gratitude to (MY NAME) which has been generous in donating his blood for 2 time"
Heh..2 times it says, it was actually 1 and a 1/2 to be more precise..hehe
Sigh, 1 down more to come. But as for now, goodnight everybody. I need to sleep now..i lost some blood today. therefore, i  need to rest and pump new ones.
